This little makeover made a big difference! This is smack dab in the middle of the house and somehow the last area that Iβve tended to since moving in almost 5 months ago. The movers put that gray buffet there and it immediately became the hodge podge catch all for random things. (Swipe) Originally I was looking at getting an antique piece and wallpapering the wall and buying new lamps but I thought before I spend all that money, letβs paint the gray cabinet pink, bc whatβs the worst that could happen? Not only did it save this buffet but now I love this spot including the existing red mirror and chair! The lamps were in the guest room but they look so much better in here with new custom leopard shades.
Iβm embarrassed to admit that I was scheming up a 5 figure makeover here. In the end, it only took a quart of paint and two new lampshades to make it all better! I still may add wallpaper one day. Weβll see!
P.S. My mom hates that porcelain ash trayπ. Oh well, It reminds me of my PePaw who smoked like freight train but was the sweetest old man! Also the last pic is two houses ago when the gray buffet looked great in that space!
