Stella prefers the cool hard PK floor over a bed in the summer months. She’s so soft and fluffy it’s like her coat is a built in bed I guess! Her mom removed the bed after she kept kicking it out and she seems content this way.😆 🤷🏼♀️🐾💗

We recently made some small changes to our fireplace but I think the visual impact is huge! You can swipe to see before. It was black shiplap with a basic mantle. It wasn’t my style but I didn’t know what I wanted to do differently until now. We started by removing the mantle. Did you know that by using a liner paper, you can wallpaper right over shiplap? We installed these butterfly sconces from @anthropologie and the paper is @cole_and_son_wallpapers. The tv in this room is mostly for background noise so we replaced it with a smaller one and moved it to the right as less of a focal point. The great thing about this project is, it was more affordable than other ideas I had such as a stone surround or wood paneling. Overall We’re pleased with the results and this feels more like us! Without a mantle I’m already thinking about how I’ll hang the girls Christmas stockings.🤔

Meet the newest PK girl “Jettie”🖤She comes to us from @saferefugeofcentraltexas after her previous owner moved into assisted living. She’s 4 years old and sweet as can be! Adopting another dog is how we honor our Lulu who passed last summer. It’s nice to be a family of 5 again!
