Once again, Pretty Kennels teamed up with our friends at Urbane Design to compete in Barkitecture Austin! This is a design competition where designers, builders and architects create super cool, custom doggie dwellings. They're then judged and auctioned off to the public and all the proceeds go to local animal rescues. This year we created a one of a kind co-sleeper that we're calling The Bowie Bassinet! We modeled our concept after the Bowie Pretty Kennel and added a sleek set of steel legs. Our client wanted a safe way to co-sleep with her dog, but also wanted designated spaces for each of them. If you sleep with dogs, you know how quickly your four legged companion can take over the entire bed! The Bowie Bassinet is a great solution for this! You can have your pet at arms reach without cramping each others sleep style.
